In the tiny town of Willowdale, where the houses looked like candy and the trees whispered secrets, lived a boy named Mr Pew Pew. Mr Pew Pew wasn’t a super hero or a magician (though he wished he were)—he was just a regular boy, with a mop of curly hair and shoes that squeaked when he walked. But he had a very big worry: soon, he would leave his friendly, safe primary school and go to the much bigger, much scarier Willowdale Secondary School. Every night, Mr Pew Pew lay in bed, thinking of huge halls, loud bells, and strange, older kids. He wished he could stay in his little classroom forever, with its walls painted sun-yellow and his teacher, Miss Bumble, who always smiled like she knew a hundred secrets. But his mum just patted his head and said, “You’ll have a grand adventure! Secondary school is full of new friends and stories.” Mr Pew Pew squeezed his pillow and didn’t feel so sure....
