In the misty heart of the Hollowleaf Woods, where the sunlight tumbled through the branches like golden ribbons and the air danced with the sweet song of bluebirds, lived a boy named John. He was not brave like the knights in storybooks, nor clever like the wily foxes he often spotted at dawn. But John had a heart as bright as a lantern and an insatiable curiosity that pulled him toward adventure, just as surely as a magnet draws iron. One chilly morning, when the dew still glittered on the spiderwebs and the hush of dawn shrouded the trees, John discovered a tiny, crumpled parchment tucked beneath an old toadstool. Scribbled in curly script were the words: “Just posted.” That was all. John scratched his head, for he hadn’t posted anything, and who could write a message so mysterious? Driven by curiosity, he tucked the note in his pocket and skipped to the Willow Bridge, where the river...
