Bobby always thought of himself as a watcher, not a doer. School, home, the park—all places where Bobby watched the world go by, his gentle heart hidden beneath caution and a little uncertainty. He adored reading in the sun with his ginger cat, Marzipan, and sipping tea in his grandmother’s fragrant garden. To Bobby, life was a tapestry of small joys, predictable as the ticking of a clock. But things began to change the day his new neighbor, Mina, moved in. Mina was a whir of colors and mischief, laughter and enigmatic stories. She wore boots with mismatched laces, carried a notebook brimming with sketches of clouds, and greeted Bobby with a grin as wide as the moon. “Hi!” she called over the fence, waving a hand stained blue from ink. “Do you like exploring?” Bobby hesitated.
